Mariscos El Pescador Hosts 4th of July Summer Kids Camp

(Laredo, Tx)-Mariscos El Pescador partnered with the TAMIU Planetarium, the LCC Environmental Department, the Webb County Sheriffs Department, The Imaginarium of SouthTexas, LaredoBuzz.Com, Webb County Commissioner Pct.1 Frank Sciaraffa, Mayor of El Cenizo Raul Reyes, UISD Trustee Ricardo Molina, and The Laredo Rattlesnakes Football Team for a Fourth of July Summer Kids Camp at their location in South Laredo. Exhibits and games were set up for the children to enjoy. The children were bused to the restaurant from Rio Bravo, El Cenizo, and Mirando. During their visit the children were treated to the restaurant’s signature kids meal the Lil’ Sailor’s Boat which consisted of Chicken Nuggets,French Fries, and a Softdrink in a Souvenir Cup.
Some of the activities that the children enjoyed were balloon twisting by the South Texas Imaginarium, a petting exihibit from the LCC Environmental Department that included a a snake, a lizard, and a turtle, and face painting. Members of the Laredo Rattlesnakes Arena Football Team and their head coach signed autographs for the children. The Webb County Sheriff’s Department provided literature on Gun Safety and Anti-Bullying. Over 200 children and adults attended the event held in South Laredo.
