Laredo Commission for Women to Help Local Families Give Thanks

(Laredo, Tx)_The Laredo Commission for Women is continuing their mission of representing Mayor Raul G. Salinas and the Laredo City Council in community-oriented service projects that directly benefit and impact the citizens throughout the year.
Today, the Laredo Commission for Women will be giving out a total of 200 Thanksgiving baskets from throughout Laredo from each district selected by each council member and mayor, all based on need.
Event Chair Alicia Herrera, who has been spearheading this event for the last seven years knows that this is one of the more important outreach initiatives the group does as it provides much-needed food assistance for local families.
