LAREDO Tx, – U.S. 83 will remain closed until 7:30 a.m. Monday, September 12, 2011 at 6 a.m., Anderson Columbia, Inc. will start rail removal under IH 35 (mile marker #18) and US 83 interchange (near Laredo Travel Information Center) using one-way traffic control. At 8 p.m. in the evening, the entire interchange will be barricaded off for weekend asphalt pavement removal work and concrete pavement replacement.
Detours in effect throughout the weekend as this thoroughfare will be closed to motorists:

The Office of District Attorney Isidro R. Alaniz reports that Claudia Yanira Larralde at her place of employment.
Shortly before four o’clock on Wednesday afternoon, two investigators from the District Attorney’s Office took Larralde into custody. She was booked at the Webb County Jail and charged with thirteen counts of Theft by Check.
The District Attorney’s Hot Checks Division reports that this isn’t the first time Larralde has been arrested for Theft by Check. According to the Division, the defendant is a habitual hot check writer and favors smaller …
