LPD Detectives Raid Gold Fish Casino

On Friday March 25th at approximately 11:55pm CAPROS Investigators executed a search warrant at The Gold Fish located at 2322 Jacaman Rd. One person by the name of Wendy Venegas was arrested on a warrant and charged with Gambling Promotion C/A. The two month investigation resulted in the seizure of $22,264 USC and 169 mother boards. Other arrests are pending.
its sad though that a beautiful young lady such as the one on this update was caught up in the middle. this is exactly one of the reasons these establishments should be closed permanently it not only corrupts the owners but victimizes young people who need work and it also defrauds our elderly out of the little income they have receive. if our mayor and the city council had any balls they would have already made this illegal.
I’m glad to see that CAPROS has clamped down on this group. Unfortunately this sort of thing needs to be done.
