LPD Narcotics & Vice Squad Round up Seven “Johns” on City’s West Side

Seven unlucky men were arrested for soliciting sex from an undercover police officer in exchange for money. The sting took place late last night on the city’s west side (San Bernardo area) in order to attempt to clean the streets of prostitution. 
The LPD Narcotics and Vice squad set up a sting operation in which a female police officer posed undercover as a prostitute. 
Throughout the evening, one after the other, these customers pulled up and solicited the officer for sex in exchange for money. The men all ranged in age from 18 years old to 74 years of age. 
They were arrested and charged with Prostitution Class A misdemeanor. They were all booked and transported to Webb County Jail.
