LAREDO, TEXAS – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the Laredo Port of Entry seized marijuana and cocaine valued at $1.5 million in three separate enforcement actions, prohibited agricultural items and six alleged immigration violators at the international bridges over the course of five days from Nov. 24th through Nov. 28th.

 On Monday, November 29, 2010, at approximately 1:09 a.m. While conducting routine patrol duties an LPD Officer checking two vagrants behind the Gateway Shopping Center witnessed the rear door to a business swing open up and saw several people running out of the establishment screaming.  The officer then called dispatch of the ongoing event and asked for assistance. FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Leslie Nielsen, who traded in his dramatic persona for inspired bumbling as a hapless doctor in “Airplane!” and the accident-prone detective Frank Drebin in “The Naked Gun” comedies, died on Sunday in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He was 84.
