Construction Work to Affect Sidewalk Access

Beginning Tuesday, September 7, 2010 and concluding on Thursday, September 9, 2010, Matrix Environmental Sciences will be doing excavation and removal work at the former Texaco gas station on Matamoros. This work will affect the sidewalk accessibility for pedestrians along the 900 block of Matamoros and San Bernardo Avenue. The contractor will be placing (American Disabilities Act) ADA-compliant wheel chair ramps for wheel chair pedestrian traffic to be able to cross or detour around their equipment being used at the site. Pedestrians and motorists should use caution when traversing the area, and if all possible, find an alternate route
