On Monday, September 27, 2010 at approximately 4:27 p.m., police officers responded to a Burglary of Habitation in progress by the 500 block of Callaghan Street.  While in route to the call, dispatch advised that an anonymous caller stated that three male subjects broke the door to the residence next to a local bakery.  Christian Allen LopezA detailed description of the 3 assailants was given by the caller.  Caller also stated that one of the subjects kicked the door open and then all three left walking southbound.  While still on the phone with call takers, the caller advised that the suspects had returned to the residence and were now inside the house.

Domingo Iziquel SalazarOfficers arrived at the house and noticed the door slightly open.  Officers entered the home with weapons drawn.  As officers opened the door, they noticed a male juvenile looking at the officers completely awe struck and panic stricken at the fact that they had been discovered.  The two other juveniles matching the description were also found inside the residence.  Officers arrested and detained the three burglars, later identified as Domingo Salazar, Christian Lopez,  and a 16 year old male juvenile.  Officers noticed the front door was forced open because the wood panel next to the knob was broken.  Officers noticed a flat screen LCD television on the couch with the electric plug to the television hanging across the front of the screen as though the burglars intended on taking it.  The owner of the home was reached via telephone and arrived shortly after.  The owner stated to police that he did not leave the television that way and added that suspects must have known no one was home at the time of burglary.  Owner advised arresting officers that the television is valued at approximately $1,400.
