City of Laredo Mayor Raul G. Salinas presented a check to students and president Irasema Ramirez of the Laredo Community College Disability Students Club, to help them with their activities to promote awareness that students with disabilities does not mean they are not capable of excelling in a collegiate atmosphere.

Laredo, Texas (Webb County) –The Webb County Sheriff’s Office is stepping technology to the next level. Sheriff Martin Cuellar introduced “The Terra Hawk” yesterday morning at a press conference. The “Terra Hawk”, a mobile surveillance unit, is designed for rapid response, ease of deployment and tactical superiority in surveillance. It will serve as a valuable instrument in surveillance, crime deterrence and safety for Webb County.
