Earlier tonight, City of Laredo Mayor Raul G. Salinas and Members of the Laredo City Council recognized some outstanding youth in the city, youngsters who are doing their best to Laredo on the map and representing our fair city throughout the state and nation.
The Lady Texas from Trautmann Elementary School and Kazen Elementary School were ranked 3rd in the nation at the recent Youth Basketball of America National Basketball Tournament in Florida were recognized for doing so well in their tournament play, winning at regional, state and then continuing on the play well at the national tournament
The Laredo Fastbreak 3rd Grade Division boys’ basketball team were recognized for their impressive undeafeated 2009-2010 Basketball season.
