LISD Board of Trustees election filing deadline

The Laredo Independent School District Tax Office is currently accepting applications for a place on the 2010 LISD Board of Trustees general election ballot. The deadline to file an application for a place on the ballot is Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 5:00 p.m.
Residents of the district may file in person at the LISD Tax Office during regular business hours from 8:00 a.m., to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Residents can also mail their applications to the Tax Office at 904 Juarez Laredo, TX. 78040.
The district will be holding elections for Trustees in Districts Three, Five, and Six. The election date is Tuesday, November 2, 2010.
