Laredo Industrial Streets Closure Notice

Weather permitting, on-going construction on several of Laredo’s industrial street projects will include several closures, starting August 23, 2010.
The City of Laredo contractor will coordinate with area businesses to maintain access. The traveling public should slow down, drive with extreme caution, and observe all safety signs, traffic control devices and flaggers in the work zone area.
Killam Industrial Park
Work will continue on Killam between Lamar and FM 1472.
Inter-America Industrial Park
Work will continue on Import Road. This road will be closed to through traffic and local traffic will be transitioned to one side of the road.
After next week, all work will be completed on this project except 2″ mill and overlay pending answer from City of Laredo Public Works.
Tejas Industrial Park
Work will continue on most intersections in the Modern industrial park, various intersections will be closed to traffic.
Work will also continue on the Teas industrial park. Traffic will be transitioned around construction areas.
