Broncos announce Playoff Tickets on sale now, sign Ozzie Canseco for final three home games

The Laredo Broncos of the United League announce today that playoff tickets for their home playoff game scheduled for Tuesday August 31st are on sale now. The opponent in the first round of the United League playoffs scheduled to run from August 31st through September 2nd has yet to be determined with three games remaining in the United League schedule. The Laredo Broncos also announce they have signed OF Ozzie Canseco (6-2, 220) to a 2010 contract for the final three home games of the regular season. Ozzie Canseco, the brother of current Bronco Jose Canseco, has played professional baseball for 12 seasons, with a career batting average of .247 in 934 games. Canseco holds the single season Independent baseball home run record, belting 48 homers in 2000 while playing for the Newark bears in the Atlantic League.
