FREE IMMUNIZATION SERVICES WILL BE PROVIDED AT OPERATION LONE STAR AT ALEXANDER HIGH SCHOOL

Laredo, TX – - The City of Laredo Health Department Immunizations Program will be closed Friday, July 30 to Friday, August 6.  Free immunization services will be provided  at Operation Lone Star held at Alexander High School.

 Operation Lone Star (OLS) is a collaborative project uniting state health and human services agencies, the Texas State Guard, Army and Air National Guard, the City of Laredo, the Laredo Health Department, local services groups, schools and civilian volunteers to provide the largest public health humanitarian effort in the country.

 OLS will be conducting free health clinics on August 2-6 at Alexander High School in an effort to provide health services to people in South Texas.

 OLS offers a variety of FREE medical services, including immunizations, sports physicals, high blood pressure screenings, diabetic screenings, limited dental services, limited vision exams, limited pharmaceutical services, medical referrals, oral health education and preventive health education

 All who wish to get immunized or who require immunizations for school registration are welcomed to attend Operation Lone Star with their immunization record anytime from 8 am to 4 pm from August 2-5 and from 8 am to 2 pm on August 6.

 The City of Laredo Health Department Immunization Clinic will resume its usual times on Monday, August 9.

8:00 am-11:30 am & 1:00 pm-4:30 pm

Evening Clinic

Tuesday

5:00 pm to 6:30 pm
