Bill includes Cuellar’s provisions to eliminate government waste
Washington, D.C. – Congressman Henry Cuellar (TX-28) on Thursday helped pass H.R. 5850, the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act of 2011, which makes key investments to protect America’s housing needs and makes much needed improvements to our nation’s highways, public transit systems and airports.

DEL RIO, TEXAS – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the Del Rio Port of Entry this morning apprehended a Monclova , Mexico man wanted on a Dallas-area warrant for aggravated sexual assault of a child. The apprehension occurred on July 30, 2010 at the international bridge. House Passes $701 Million in Funding for the Southern Border
Washington, DC – Today, U.S. Congressmen Henry Cuellar (TX-28), Solomon P. Ortiz (TX-27), Ruben Hinojosa (TX-15), Ciro D. Weather permitting, ongoing construction on the Unitec Industrial Street Project will close the intersection of Uniroyal and Regional on Monday, August 2.
Northbound traffic will continue on Uniroyal to North Unitec, then left to Border Street, then left on Border to Regional, then right on Regional to continue driving north. Southbound traffic from Regional will take Border Street going east to North Unitec, then turn right onto North Unitec and continue going south.
The closure will be in effect for approximately four weeks.
