House Passes Bill to Help Pending Homebuyers
Washington, DC – Today, Congressman Henry Cuellar (TX-28) helped pass the Homebuyers Assistance and Improvement Act to extend an important deadline to help eligible first-time homebuyers benefit from tax credits. The bill passed the House overwhelmingly Tuesday and would give homebuyers an extra three months to complete their home purchases to benefit from tax credits worth up to $8,000.

On June 28th Laredo Police Narcotics Vice Unit assisted by Laredo Police patrol division conducted a narcotics investigation by the 300 block of Ocean. Suspected narcotics related activity was detected at the residence after operating surveillance. The narcotics team approached the home and asked for consent to search the residence from the owner of the home. The tropical storm that had already forced the rescheduling of game four of the Broncos (13-19), White Wings (14-18) series, has now caused the cancellation of the final two games of the series all together.
The Broncos won the first two games of the series in Harlingen by the score of 6-2 in game one and 10-3 in game two played last night.
