Fifty Three Year Old Charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance

On Wednesday January 13, 2010 A narcotics investigation by The Webb County Sheriff’s office in conjunction with ICE Agents led to the seizure of 9.5 grams of heroin and 1.4 ounces of marijuana. The investigation was initiated after the Crime Stoppers TIPS Line received numerous calls of suspicious activity consistent with the sale of street level amounts of narcotics occurring at the 3600 Block of Flores St. a search of the residence resulted in the seizure of 9.5 grams of heroin with an estimated street value of 2,014.00 and 1.4 ounces marijuana with an estimated street value of $116.00 totaling $2,130.00. Javier Montemayor 53 yrs of age was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance F/2 and possession of marijuana C/B. Montemayor was transported to the Webb County Jail in lieu of no bond.
