NARCS MAKE BUST SEND 3 TO JAIL FOR CHRISTMAS

 ON WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 23, 2009 AT APPROXIMATELY 6:30 PM LAREDO POLICE NARCOTICS OFFICERS, LPD PATROL, LPD K-9 AND I.C.E. AGENTS EXECUTED A SEARCH WARRANT AT A HOME ON THE 900 BLOCK OF MUSSER STREET. A MULTI-WEEK INVESTIGATION, INCLUDING SURVIELLANCE, REVEALLED NARCOTICS ACTIVITY AT THE RESIDENCE.  GILBERTO OSCAR MANCHA AGE 43, ROBERTO MANUEL HINOJOSA AGE 29 AND REYES ADOLFO MANCHA AGE 40 ALL WERE PLACED UNDER ARREST.  WHILE SERVING THE WARRANT LPD NARCOTICS OFFICERS DISCOVERED 1 DOSE OF COCAINE WEIGHT 0.1 GRAMS AND 34 GRAMS OF MARIJUANA INSIDE THE …

No Show Construction Contractor Arrested for Theft

On September 28, 2009  a complainant on the 3400 block of Weeping Willow reported to Police that the victim had contracted a male subject identified as Urbano Rosas, to some construction work which he was paid for but never finished.  Yolanda Lopez provided a statement indicating that a payment to Urbano Rosas the amount of $1,400.00.  He was paid to remodel certain details at the home.  The victim further advised that Rosas didn`t do the job and only damaged the home.  Due to the unfinished work the house now …

Police Arrest Two Suspects Burglarizing Vehicle

 Police arrested Lazaro Villarreal, 22, and Jose Armando Renteria, 17 for Burglary of a Vehicle, Theft and Evading Arrest.  The duo was allegedly caught in the process of breaking into a vehicle at the 1300 block of Stewart when a witness saw them in the act.  The witness called Police and gave them the information while it was in progress.  The suspects then took off on foot walking towards Plum and Hendricks.  When Police arrived the suspects ran away towards the housing projects near Maryland and Richter.  The …

65 yr. old Arrested in Raid

 On Monday December 21st, Laredo Police Narcotics/Vice Unit assisted by Patrol Division served search warrant by the 300 block of E. Montgomery. Guillermo Sandoval , Patricia Claudia Garza  and Jose Alberto Villagomez, of 317 E. Montgomery were all arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance F/1 in a Drug Free Zone.  The three were transported to the Laredo Police Department where they were booked and later remanded to the Webb County Jail in lieu of No bond.  All evidence recovered at the scene was photographed and stored at …

LPD Blue Santa Makes Final Delivery of Toys to Children in Local Hospitals this Week

Police need help finding this man 3 Counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child under 14 yrs of age

Police need help finding wanted fugitive

Blas Cecilio Sanchez, age 28, is wanted for 3 counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault.  Sanchez is accused of having forced himself on a child under the age of 14.  The incident is stemming from a complaint filed on March of 2009.  The child out cried to a teacher and then relatives after the incident.  The child was given a forensic interview and also underwent a rape kit examination.  Forensic evidence was also collected and submitted for testing.  DNA confirmed Sanchez’s alleged rape …

Bucks Donate Tickets To Navidad En El Barrio

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League announced that they have donated three tickets each to the Children of Navidad En El Barrio to attend either the December 27th or December 31st games at the LEC.
“We would like to send out a very big thank you to everyone who donated to the help the children of Navidad En El Barrio,” said Bucks President/General Manager and Head Coach Terry Ruskowski. “Without their support this would not have been possible.”
