LISD Elementary Science Fair

 Laredo Independent School District Science Department will be hosting a Science Fair for LISD elementary school students Wednesday, December 2, and Thursday, December 3. The fair is being held at the Laredo Civic Center Ballroom.

 The purpose of the Science Fair is for students to learn about the scientific process and to prepare them for the upcoming TAKS testing.

 Judging for the science fair will take place today, Wednesday, December 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Judges for the science fair include local doctors, professors, attorneys, LISD deans and instructional specialist, and educational college students.

 Viewing of the science projects is scheduled for Thursday, December 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The viewing of the projects is free of charge and open to the public. After the viewing, and awards ceremony will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
