 AT&T crews will be installing fiber optic cable along Marcella Avenue between Corpus Christi and Guadalupe.  To facilitate the project, they will be closing Marcella, starting TOMORROW, Thursday, December 3, 2009, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
 Please use caution when driving in the area.

 CenterPoint Energy crews will be closing the 600 block of VIDAURRI, and the 2000 block of FARRAGUT due to emergency maintenance repairs by CenterPoint Energy in the areas.  The closures will be for today, WEDNESDAY, December 2, 2009.

 Laredo Independent School District Science Department will be hosting a Science Fair for LISD elementary school students Wednesday, December 2, and Thursday, December 3. The fair is being held at the Laredo Civic Center Ballroom.
 The purpose of the Science Fair is for students to learn about the scientific process and to prepare them for the upcoming TAKS testing.

Laredo, TX – The City of Laredo Health Department (CLHD) is offering limited amounts of seasonal flu vaccine for children between 6 and 35 months.  The cost for the seasonal flu vaccine is $4.00.  H1N1 vaccine continues to be offered to the general public especially those considered at risk (pregnant women, children under 5, students and those with underlying health conditions) as long as supplies are available. In addition some physicians have both vaccines available.  The H1N1 vaccine is free of charge.

Ricardo Urdiales for Justice of the Peace Pct.2 Place 1
