Donate blood and help save lives. You can make the difference. Dr. Dennis D. Cantu Health Science Magnet School at Martin High School campus will be hosting a blood drive Friday December 4. Come and join us from 9am to 4pm in classroom H101 to make a difference in someones life. Anyone who is at least 17 years old and weighing 110 pounds, and in good general health can donate blood. Thanks to calls from viewers who saw footage of a woman taking a credit card left behind at a local grocery store led police to the arrest of Karen Francis Robbins, age 40. A combination of the surveillance footage and the leads called in to police after the pictures of the surveillance tape aired on the local media outlets, investigators had positively identified Robbins for using a credit card left behind by a woman who forgot it at the grocery store checkout counter.
