Re-uniting local soldiers with their families for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Webb County, TX – State Representative Richard Raymond, Mayor Raul Salinas, Webb County Judge Danny Valdez , Sheriff Martin Cuellar, District Attorney Chilo Alaniz, founder of the CHI products Farouk Shami, Guerra Communications, Javier Santos , Lamar Outdoor Advertising, Cosmos Bar and Grill, Women of Destiny Ministries, and South Texas Afghanistan/Iraq Veterans Association along with a wide variety of local and regional sponsors made it possible for 96 members of the Bravo Unit of the United States Army to join their families in Laredo for the Thanksgiving holiday. The soldiers were scheduled to spend the holiday in El Paso, however through the contributions and support of sponsors and volunteers, these brave men and women will make it home for the duration of their short holiday leave. Judge Danny Valdez, Mayor Raul Salinas, Sheriff Martin Cuellar, and Representative Richard Raymond will be joining the Bravo Unit on their flight into Laredo on Tuesday. Once the soldiers and their sponsors arrive they will be caravanned to the Casa Blanca Ballroom where the Annual Thanksgiving Feast will be underway from 6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. A ceremony will be held in honor of their arrival at 8:00 p.m.
