Knock Out Litter, Win a T-Shirt

Courtesy Raul Leal,

After Laredo students learn how to eliminate litter as part of the new Don’t Mess with Texas Litter Force 76-school tour, they can wear their support all year long by earning a superhero T-shirt featuring their school’s name.

The Litter Force superheroes are bringing a new four-month-long energized show to schoolchildren across Texas. Now in its third touring year, the Litter Force is a research-based Don’t Mess with Texas program by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) that teaches children about litter prevention. TxDOT is partnering with Keep Laredo Beautiful to present the Litter Force event.

After the performance, the school will receive 50 limited edition Litter Force T-shirts featuring the school’s name. Based upon school officials’ discretion, T-shirts can be awarded to students who exhibit outstanding litter prevention behavior throughout the year.
