Milling, Resurfacing of Ireland, Columbia
Starting today, September 30 2009, the City of Laredo Public Works Division will begin milling Ireland and Columbia Drive to prepare for future resurfacing of the streets. The milling division will be working on the outer edges of the street and the streets will not be closed to through traffic. Ireland will be milled from US 83 to Columbia Drive and Columbia Drive will be milled from Ejido to Loma Del Sur. Weather permitting, the milling will continue until Friday, October 9, 2000 when Public Works crews will then resurface the sections mentioned above. Expect road closures on those days. Drivers are urged traffic to obey all traffic signs and to please drive carefully next to the employees and equipment.
