Mayor Proclaims National Child Passenger Safety Month

Mayor Raul Salinas proclaimed National Child Passenger Safety Month and September 26th as National Seat Check Saturday on September 22 at the Laredo City Council Chambers. Mayor Salinas stressed the importance of the parent’s role to model seat belt usage to children. He also stated that safety for all vehicle passengers is of the utmost importance. The Texas Migrant Council with collaborative agencies will be sponsoring a Child Passenger Safety seat check event on Saturday, September 26 from
10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the TMC parking lot located at 5102 N. Bartlett Ave.
