TWIN CITY BIKE RALLY 4TH OF JULY FESTIVAL 2009
The Twin City Bike Rally 4th of July Festivities kicked off yesterday July 3rd at the Civic Center Grounds with Live Music by Discreto and Grupo La Juventud. Food Booths are and Drink Booths are spread out throughout the Civic Center with other vendors selling posters or crafts and many more novelty items. The fun continues today with a parade and other events scheduled throughout the day. The festivities showcase local and area motorcycle clubs. Motorcycle Stunt shows will thrill the crowd today at 2p.m. with another stunt show scheduled for 5:00 p.m. A watermelon eating contest starts at 5 followed by a pie eating contest at 6. Saturdays event ends with a battle of the bands featuring local and area talent. Entrance to the event is only $1 so take your whole family out today to the Laredo Civic Center Grounds.
