4th of July Closure Notice for City Offices
All City of Laredo administrative offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2009 in observance of Independence Day.
Protective and emergency services will be operational. Independence Day, the Laredo Public Library will be closed Friday July 3 through Sunday, July 5, 2009. The Bruni Plaza Branch will be closed Friday, July 3 through Monday, July 6, 2009.
There is no regular scheduled garbage or recycling pick-up on that day. The City Landfill will be open on Friday, July 3, 2009 and closed on Saturday, July 4, 2000.
In observance of
The City of Laredo Municipal Court will also be closed on July 3. Individuals scheduled to appear in court that day have a minimum of 10 working days to make an appearance. Contact Municipal Court for more information at 794-1680.
El Metro and El Lift bus service will run on a regular schedule for Friday, July 3 and on a Sunday schedule for Saturday, July 4.
City of Laredo administrative offices will re-open on Monday, July 6, 2009, during normal business hours, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The next regularly scheduled City Council meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2009.
