June 26, 2009 (LAREDO, TX) The Laredo Entertainment Center and Hot 106.1 are proud to announce the return of Latin Hip-Hop Sensation PITBULL: Rebelution Tour live at the L.E.C. on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at 7:00pm.
“In conjunction with the launch of his new CD and his nation-wide tour due in September, we are excited to bring back this electrifying performer” said Roy Medina, General Manager for the SMG-managed Laredo Entertainment Center. Rebelling against the stereotype that his sound is too Hip-Hop for Latin music and too Latin for Hip-Hop music, Rebelution is set to bring all those stereotypes down according to the artist himself. “If you didn’t attend his show the first time around, you definitely don’t want to miss out on this one; you are bound to get your money’s worth with such an energetic performer,” added Medina.
Although the show is set for October 6th, the announcement needed to be made in order to be part of a national on-sale date that is set for this Friday, June 26th @ 10 am. “Once again it is important that we try to be part of these national on-sale dates because not only do they measure the popularity of these particular groups, but they give all industry promoters and agents an insight to our buying market,” added Medina.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 26, 2009 at the LEC box office and all Ticketmaster outlets at 10:00am. Ticket prices are: $52, $38, $24, $18 (plus facility fee) with a special buy one, get one free offer on all tickets only available at the LEC Box Office. The LEC box office will remain open until 8pm on Friday; giving everyone an opportunity to take advantage of this great offer!
A second ticket discount will be offered starting Monday, June 29th – Friday, July 3rd with ½ prices on all tickets at the LEC Box Office only from 10am-6pm.
