New Date for Postponed Heat Game Announced

Monday, May 4, 2009 ( Laredo , TX): The United Soccer Leagues (USL), the Rio Grande Valley Bravos and the Laredo Heat agreed today to play the initial Premier Development League (PDL) 2009 Season Opener originally scheduled for this past weekend between the two clubs but postponed due to health concerns regarding the H1N1 virus to Monday, May 25, 2009 (Memorial Day) at 7:30 PM at Valley View High School in Hidalgo, TX.
The Laredo Heat will open up the PDL 2009 Regular Season at home this Thursday, May 7, 2009 at the TAMIU Soccer Complex versus the defending Mid-South Division Champion Austin Aztex. Kick-off is set for 8:00 PM.
