LPD to Begin Impounding Uninsured Vehicles

  Effective May 01, 2009, the Laredo Police Department will begin towing vehicles without liability insurance.  Purpose:  Drivers are required by law to maintain financial responsibility in order to operate vehicles on Texas roadways.  This new initiative is for the impounding of a vehicle that is being operated within the jurisdictional limits of the City
